Lenka started to get actively involved in the networking domain in 2011. She was inspired by rich past experience and many contacts that she gathered during her studies and internship abroad. She has been managing her own company since 2012 focusing on meeting and connecting people, business assistance and she strives to broaden the range of unconventional networking events at the Czech market.
Lenka Schanova: ” Contacts and the English language are my drive””.
Lenka started her carrier already during her studies of the English language to which she actively devoted herself since her school-leaving exams. The first international experience followed, in an Australian Sydney. Despite a short break back in the Czech Republic after a year she spent another twelve months of bachelor studies at the prestigious American university The University of Northern Virginia in Prague and then continued in London at The University of East London. At that time she began to build her network of international contacts actively. She took advantage of her internship as a Business Developer in the iTrade UK company where she consequently got a job as a project manager’s assistant. She familiarised herself with the domain of international business at the university Entrepreneur Club.
Having successfully graduated in the bachelor programme she continued with her studies by a summer course of the Harvard University in Boston. During the summer spent in the United States she established plenty of contacts with people from all around the world and she has been keeping them alive since.
The following MBA studies at the Brussels Business School were beneficial also thanks to an internship at the European Parliament in the form of so called Study visit and at Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU.
Her further steps lead towards establishing her own company that endeavours to improve networking in the Czech Republic and to raise its level to a world-wide standard.
